I think I need to find some artists whose lyrics speak more to me - more about horrific tortures and murder." Or, even in the case of ICP - "I'm gonna need some more misogyny and pointless, drunken bravado." Especially when you're a kid from the suburbs without a single worry in your life. It's amazing. I'm guessing that it proves less that there's any starving demand out there for this kind of thing, and more that - with the right strings pulled - ANYTHING can be marketed and sold. A concept which also explains Glen Beck. So maybe not that amazing. I guess it is some kind of HorrorCore thing. I had never heard of HorrorCore, but I guess its a type of music. The article was in last months Maxim and it was about this guy who is in the business (I guess) and he killed 3 or 4 people. But, because of the article, I actually recognized some of the bands, label, and people that are referenced in the video.
